Please enjoy a rudimentary sketch of Lizzy.

And now, incredibly specific worldbuilding for a world where vore and being eaten alive is a common thing.

Respawn is a specific insurance plan anyone can get. A microchip is implanted into their body (usually near a vital organ) and runs off of bio energy. Once it is either broken or it runs out of power (in both cases it is presumed the chipped one is dead), a signal is sent to a respawn facility in the closest proximity to where the death signal came from.

Respawn facilities are like small plazas and have a few places to grab a bite, pick up some spare clothes, or generally hang out and lounge until picked up or ready to leave. It isn't unusual to have free-for-all extras like arcades or movie theaters in them as well. (Free-for-all meaning that it does not cost anything to play games or see films, as there are few insurance companies, thus allowing them to have a large surplus of money to put into entertainment.)

There are three kinds of insurance:
-Basic
-Convenient
-Premium

Basic insurance is the cheapest, but it means being put into a regular queue for respawn, leaving one to be stuck in limbo for a little bit. Everything in the respawn center costs full price. This plan is common in minimum wage job benefits.

Convenient insurance gives a 10% to 20% discount on respawn center shops, and will be added into their own special queue; these lines tend to be shorter, and Convenient plans tend to be common for office jobs. Convenient plans can cover a family or household.

Premium insurance gives a 25% to 35% discount on respawn center shops, will be put at the front of the queue, and will have a "Finder" at the respawn center go to the location of the signal and retrieve their items to be brought back. These plans are often found in high paying jobs, and will cover everyone in the household of the paying insured. It can also apply to family, but only if they are first-degree.

It is extremely illegal to interfere with Respawn Center "Finders" and can land you upwards of 10 years in prison for harassing or killing them on the job. All Respawn Center employees are given Premium plans no matter their job, but especially the Finders.

Lizzy is legally registered as living with Ophelia and Lizzytwo, and therefore as she pays for a Premium plan, all three of them are covered.

Ophelia has a side gig of being a mover for hire at $16 an hour, but she mainly works in graphic design ($54k a year) at her local science museum.

Lizzy gets paid a shitton by a secret government agency a few times a month to take various tissue and fluid samples for study, as she IS an extraterrestrial. ($??k a year.) In exchange, they did the legal paperwork for her to live comfortably with Ophelia.

Lizzytwo doesn't have a job aside from taking care of the house.

Hummer pays for a Basic plan despite her job (a rough salary of $83k a year), since she invests most of her money into various projects, charities, and Kickstarters. She loves what she does, though, and doesn't mind a bit. She has her ways of not being a snack.

Beep is Hummer's assistant, but she isn't paid by either Hummer's employer or Hummer herself; she is registered as a dependent to Hummer. Hummer's salary is more than enough for the two of them to live off of, considering that Beep runs on solar energy and doesn't actually digest anything she eats.

Hummer lives in a sub-suburb near Lizzy and Ophelia, specifically designed for micros/tinies. Exact same houses, but scaled down for those from 6 to 12 inches tall. She has various weapons installed on her mini green VW Beetle car that hurt quite badly if anyone even dares to pick her up with a hint of a malicious intent. She won't hesitate, bitch.

Lizzy, Lizzytwo, and Ophelia all live in a three-bed three-bath suburban home, which I'm itching to make in the Sims.

Anyway, hope you liked this lore/world dump. Time to install the Sims and screw around.

I got myself Sims 3 a long time ago when a bunch of Sims stuff was on sale for super cheap; it doesn't have a ton of different furniture, but it works at least. :P

Considering EA seems to be obsessed with sports games at the moment, I think your good for the time being. Though I'd enjoy those games they haven't touched yet while you can. After they finish burning down the virtual sports industry, they'll probably start doing remakes and 'updated/expanded' versions of older games.

Step one: never eat
Step 2: never sleep
Step 3: sell fridge and bed
Step 4: get smallest house possible that’s literally just a shed with power because you no longer need sleep or food or bathroom (cause no food)
Step 5: buy premium

But that's a pretty miserable life to be living to be able to live forever, innit?

Stveve

Posted by Stveve 5 years ago Report

But with all this time, you can work like 4 jobs at once and make enough money to at least get food back

0plushbird0

Posted by 0plushbird0 5 years ago Report

Still not a great way to live; four jobs would leave you super exhausted all the time, and then you just have a crappy little hut to go back to.

A small price to pay for immortality

But not a fun immortality. :(

I guess... still , would it work?

Well, more in depth:
- You won't get respawned with any food in your stomach, thus the cafes. (Food is still needed.)
- Sometimes you can respawn with the clothes that were on you, but that's not as common as one might think in a vore-existant world.
- You'd have to be killed over and over and over again. That really doesn't sound like fun.
- Insurance has to be paid monthly. If you get dropped, your chip deactivates and your death is permanent. Make your payments on time, folks.
- Older folks tend to not have respawn plans since it would really suck ass to respawn somewhere, especially with common old age issues like Alzheimers & dementia and arthritis, etc.
