Fun/weird fact with Delirio that I've not full explored but when people are digested and all he has left is a small gut from his stuffed intestines, the prey within is still full conscious though unable to tell what state they're in... being inside Delirio is like being the cat in a box, both dead and alive.
Prey are fully conscious and are able to talk etc. until... well until Delirio either uses the bathroom or belches enough that his gut goes all the way down again, then there's no more voice, how it exactly works is unknown to all apart from Delirio, who likes to keep it mysterious to mess with everyone.
