Adventure Journal – Day 11
Today I undertook a second mission with a single ally. It was very similar to the first, but a little further away. I got ten gold for it. That's worth nearly an entire meal.
Yet again, I did all the work. The only use my Human ally was during the mission was to guide me through their lands. A map would be a good investment.
Instead, we sat near a creek. She enjoyed her dinner, and I sat watching her, getting increasingly annoyed with her. Then I realised that I am worth dozens, maybe hundreds of them... And one going missing couldn't hurt.
I ate her. I entirely devoured her whole. I feel bad now, but at the time I was so hungry. I simply grabbed her and shoved her into my mouth. I half expected her to get stuck. Maybe my body was entirely on board with the idea. My throat stretched enough to take her in.
I felt as she slid into my stomach and wriggled. I went from incredibly hungry to very sated in a moment! I felt her struggling for the rest of the evening. Humans, for all their flaws, are hardy and never give up. I knew that much before I came here. Presumably she surrendered and accepted that she was my meal.
I'm going into a lot of detail for something I feel so guilty about, but she did taste good. I need meat, of course. Maybe in future I can consider this if I'm sent out to fight more bandits?

But I wonder what was the reason for why she became annoyed by the human :3

they got the same amount of gold for a quest - she did all the work, and the human did nothing... the gold she has cant buy enough food for a being of her size
i'd be annoyed too :)

Amazing story. Awesome to see a remorseful pred and read things from her point of view. The picture is also great as allways, especially the internals.

I like this girl, your stories make you work even better and they were are already great. Love this internal view, hope you will do more in the future.
