This “side of the wall” was specifically British. Though, the British Military had more brown shirts and armor then red. The only country who’s military that had bright colors was France who wore blue shirts and armor with red trousers too represent there flag. The British had this design during most of mid 1600’s and 1700’s.
In other words, it’s possible you were representing the Franco-Prussian war, a war that fought over the most eastern side of France. But even if you were, I could see it as an honest mistake. As I said previously, the French wore blue shirts with red trousers though with this picture, it may seem you drawn the total opposite.
