Bernadetta won the patreon poll! I didn't know she aged up to 18 with her starting look, so I picked the post-timeskip appearance. I don't like it as much, but I still think it's cute.
Here she is, after panicking from the professor entering her room unannounced. Naturally, people start trying to look for him, as he's late for his class the next day.
It definitely wouldn't do to let anyone see her like this~ What would they say when they found out?
So, sweet little Bernie does what anyone else would do when trying to avoid human contact: fake sick. Albeit, she is feeling quite queasy-- just for a very different reason.
At the very least, her little fib will buy her a bit of time to figure out how she's going to deal with this situation.
