Born with Middle Eastern origins, Anya is a shy, but careful and caring person. She doesn't like eating people, as the idea of having someone painfully die inside her excruciates her. Yet she often finds herself doing it, either by accident, or to get herself out of trouble, often caused by her friend Gaela when there are witnesses. Occasionally even, her own hunger takes over her mind and makes her binge on the first person she meets, to her own disarray.
She also hates seeing her friends devouring people alive, and quite frequently, she scolds them for it, to no avail however.
Sometimes, Anya feels like she is the mother of a bunch of stubborn murderers. Yet, she can't bring herself to stop her friends, nor to leave them, because they are the only ones who accepted her own ravenous tendencies, and the only ones she can rely on when in trouble.

As for Anya's metabolism, it isn't as good as Gaela's. Digesting one adult usually adds quite some fat weight on her (one more reason to avoid eating people) and it requires at least a week at the gym with Gaela to burn it off. She needs a whole day to digest someone, and three people at once will give her quite the indigestion.

Somehow, she manages to deal with Gaela's mess by reading books and drinking tea (sometimes with Charlene), which helps her relax.
