Pictured is Ukma Borsdag, part of the wealthy Borsdag family. The family came into money some 2000 years ago, when the third-known beanstalk to a human realm appeared on Vakin Borsdag’s cattle farm. He charged a hefty tax for access to it which quickly made him wealthy beyond imagination, as human meat was dwindling at the time. Eventually it was bought outright by the royal family to the tune of nigh-on limitless money, making him amongst the richest giants in the land in only a few short decades. Shortly after the purchase, it was passed into law that newly discovered beanstalks are automatically the property of the crown, and failure to report a new beanstalk immediately is an executable offense. Vakin’s descendants have lived opulent, wealthy, lazy lives, coasting on their name alone despite the third beanstalk having long since been depleted of humans, its connecting realm rendered nought more than a barren wasteland.

Ukma is a prime example of the egotism, laziness and obesity that comes naturally as breathing to wealthy giants. She is a socialite who, coming up on her 300th year, has only ever displayed contempt for those will less wealth than her (in other words, most people). The closest thing she does to a hard day’s work is indulge in a 7th course at dinner. Her city manor in stuffed to the brim with servants, while her human farms in the country ensure she’s never short of slaves and snacks.
