That ending gave me chills, the snow queen would surely be terrifying, if she held the power of shrinking in her hands.
Thinking about shrinking, didn't the snow queen have an army of snowflakes in the original fairy tale? They would basicly become "unshrunk" (if that word exists), thus using their sharp edges as horrifying weapons.
