An image of a new character, a herm unicorn bard from Sylvanis named Electra Moonglow going for a walk in some ruins after having just devoured a human woman she took out for a tumble in said ruins. On Sylvanis, unicorns are a swift, beautiful, predatory humanoid species, with elephantine feet, pale skin, a lion-like tail, and flowing fur located on only the calves, forearms and tail tip that matches the hair on their heads. Like deer women, unicorns are all either females or hermaphrodites. Unicorns can always sniff out a virgin of other humanoid species (of any sex) in a room, and most unicorns like virgins, though how they like them varies a great deal. Electra, for example, the lustful bard that she is, is particularly fond of deflowering virgins. Once her sexual partners are no longer virgins, she has something of a tendency to eat them, but she by no means eats everyone she has sex with. In particular, she has some fellow adventurers she travels with at least one of whom she sometimes beds. (I plan on introducing these companions in future images.)
Unicorns have a degree of natural magical talent that is tied to their horn, focused on healing with a smattering of other sorts of spell. A few spells can be cast instinctively by all unicorns from a very early age; these inborn spells all relate to detecting or neutralizing poison. However, if a unicorn's horn is removed in full, they loose all their racial magic. The possessor of such a horn is granted the same magical gifts so long as the horn is intact, including the root, but removing a horn from a unicorn in such a manner is traumatic, painful and potentially deadly to the unicorn. Even damaged horns are worth good money in certain markets, as unicorn horn shavings are powerful potion reagents. For this reason, many unicorns exhibit a degree of paranoia towards other humanoids.

Yeah, I guess I see where you're coming from. I wasn't thinking about that species when I designed the unicorns for Sylvanis, but they did end up looking sort of similar.
