I'm back once again to bring you another tale of adventure that was written like it could've taken place in HipHugger's universe. And like the other ones, that doesn't mean that it did happen but rather is something that maybe could've occurred.

Brief Summary: Valérie McLaren has learned that people are disappearing in 1750 Boston, and she finally found the culprit: a siren named Kira Romulus. But there's more to this woman than meets the eye, as Valérie soon learns.

This is actually a story I wrote a long time ago and hasn't changed much. I finished rewriting it days ago but I couldn't quite nail a satisfactory climax/ending to this first part. Originally, Valérie was going to see the ""specter"" of Amber annoying her, but I didn't like the way the story was going in that draft. So I scrapped that and replaced it with the Sapphire specter. I also briefly added a full-quoted memory sequence from when Valérie lost her husband, but the more I wrote that scene the more depressed I got. For my own sanity, I deleted that writing, too. There was also a bit that showed exactly why and how Kira left the island that got cut out for pacing/I wasn't a fan of it.

NOTE: the characters of Amber Adams, Fawnia, Rory Byrne, Tenderfoot, Waning Moon and Lien, along with the interpretation of Abigail Williams, are based off of the characters created by https://aryion.com/g4/user/HipHugger Used with permission.
