It took over two months, but here it is: the sequel to "Valérie and the Lost Siren (Part 1) (1750)". Sorry it took so long, this story just ran into problem after problem as it was being developed, more on that down below.
Disclaimer: I wrote this story with the idea that it could maybe fit in Hip Hugger's universe. HOWEVER, that does not mean it *did* happen, but rather is something fun I wrote that maybe could've happened. Basically fan fiction.
Summary:
Valérie, despite having some reservations, agrees to team-up with the siren Kira Romulus to save her adopted son Tiberius from the clutches of the succubus twins Caroline and Clementine.
As stated previously, this story took a long time to craft and upload because of repeated issues I encountered while writing it. The original draft was finished a month ago or so but I was so dissatisfied with how it played out that I outright scrapped the entire thing and re-wrote it from scratch. I felt that the fight scene in the original was far too drawn out and poorly written. I also felt that their were logic issues with the fight itself that, even after correcting some of them, still bugged the hell out of me. That's why the new fight is much, much shorter.
I also went back-and-forth with Tiberius. Part of me wanted to have him killed off, maybe still in the process of being gurgled in Caroline's belly. I also briefly toyed with the idea of him having fallen victim to the succubis' pheromones. But, I ended up with this which overall I'm happy with. And yes, for those wondering, he does eventually confess his feelings to Valérie, they get married and have two sons (names unknown, though I like the idea of naming one of them "Tyler Douglas Romulus"). Valérie would also become Valérie Romulus by 1752, a name she'd maintain until Tiberius's death in the mid -1780s.
This story also features the debut of Gliten Valon, a powerful Sister of Salem rumored to be over a thousand years old. She's a brunette, has a strong Dorset accent, stands at about six feet, three inches tall and often wears elegant, Celtic-inspired robes. I have her as one of Abigail's original teachers, as well as being one of the founding members of the Sisters of Salem along with Williams, "Powhatan", Tituba and five others. Unlike most Sisters, Gliten's very empathetic and compassionate. She also possesses a strong appreciation for Mother Nature, and this is reflected with her amazing herbology skills (Betty was one of her finest students). I like to think that she's respected by the nymphs for this and she'd also get along with Hip (the character) very well.
Another character mentioned here, who was also teased in Belle, Lien and Trust Part 4, is Ruth, who I have as the leader of the succubus coalition. I don't have a physical description of her just yet, but I do have a basic backstory for her. She crossed over to our world during the Crusades and has been manipulating kingdoms for centuries. Now in the Colonies, Ruth aims to purge the world of witches so that her and her fellow succubi can reign supreme. In terms of personality, I like to think of her as a Godfather-type figure. She's also best friends with the siren Charlotte d'Isle, whom she met not too long after she first came to our world.
NOTE: the character of Amber Adams, as well as these interpretations of Betty Parris and Abigail Williams, are creations of the wonderful https://aryion.com/g4/user/HipHugger . Used with permission.

Nicely done, Neptune! This was a fun read and your version of the universe is getting b i g. I'm seeing a great improvement in your writing, too! Keep up the great work no matter what it is you're writing/drawing :)

Aw thanks, Hip :). I tried to take my time with this story, though re-reading it now it seems some things escaped my round of proofreading/editing ("I fear soon the twins’ interest in keeping him alive will soon wane", gdi).
And yeah, the universe is getting big, though I'm trying my best to keep it growing at a slow rate. Too many characters added at once, too many stories at once can easily become a problem, so I want to keep it steady. Heck, I even have a lore bible I'm using to reference characters, though it definitely needs a tune-up because I didn't organize it very well.
I will say though, I think I'm gonna take a break from "serious" stories for a bit. Sometimes writing these things messes with my head, especially when depressive topics come up such as Valérie's suicidal thoughts or Kira's bullying. I'm going to write another "fun" story instead starring Amber and Hip, instead. Got an idea I want to play with involving Hip's non-vore interests.

Even in comments I can't seem to escape redundancy, "I'm going to write another "fun" story instead starring Amber and Hip, instead". Oof.

Oh goodness yes, don't depress yourself writing dark fiction. <3

Yeah I know :/. I love writing these stories and I love your characters, but sometimes the inherently dark aspects of this world get to me. And that feels bad.
