Pivotal plot character this time! If you choose the Desert route of the storyline anyway~ If you can't tell, I'm having way to much fun bringing previously text-based characters to life~

Vina {Veena} is a (As of yet) incombatable Voidling found within the Caves that sporadically join the more refined halls of The Depths under the Anth'Raki Desert. If one was to deviate from the catacombs and into the pockets of untouched caverns through holes or monster-constructed archways, they would have a chance (Diceroll) of getting this encounter. Webbing would be a signal that the initial chance had been fullfilled as you travel deeper off the beaten path of the Pyramids' catacombs.

Vina is classed as an Encounter because she was never actually fightable, despite her listed abilities simply because you'd lack the correct tools at this stage to succeed. She provides special information that could be used for benefits throughout the Desert Arc. (Pure and Devious ways)

She's very Spider-like, but also not since she's Alien. The Chitinous growth on her back houses her spider-like limb appendages that are summoned by a form of Void energy. Her 'Web' is actually a corrosive slime that is shot from the underside of her wrist on her Chitin arm. (Obscured in this pic) The slime itself becomes rubbery when exposed to the air, so it'll corrode the wall in it's initial impact and mold into the corroded spot in it's rubbery form.

She's the first Voidling to be encountered and as such are given a very slight hint at the motives of these creatures from deepspace. She's pivotal because the people she's eaten here were intentional targets she'd selected, being 'The Three Sages' who were prominant and important figures within Anth'Raki. So much so that it sparks The Desert War, an event between two civilizations within the Desert plains that makes for most of the Anth'Raki storyline.

During the now ongoing war she's created, Vina is able to forge a small Shard from the sustanance she gained from eating the three Sages, said shard being taken to the surface at the end of the encounter, as a demonstration of their power by Vina - With the war taking a psychological toll on inhabitants and soldiers alike, they begin to turn into Abominations from the weak Shard. Abominations are horrifically grotesque mutants that the premature Taint creates from it's hosts as it panics for survival, focusing completely on killing and feeding.

Vina's encounter is listed below, she speaks to Steele, not the player character since they are new at this point and Steele has been around much longer:
