In The furry world humans are often seen as a delicacy, making small colonies that are similar to ant hives in our world. They have made their own small society mostly crushed by anthro intervention. While they are tasty and are full of nutrition they aren't nearly as filling and are more toys and pets than actual food. Before anthros colonized the main continent humans lived in massive societies much larger than anthros but they were decimated and devoured, despite the ability to talk and display sentient thought, they are made legal to eat due to their breeding habits. considered to be pests more than living citizens. It's been debated if they should be protected under the "Clause of Sentience," but due to corrporate corruption bussiness owners have manipulated politicans to recgonize humans as a resource than a species.

So they are sold coated in candy, blended, boiled in popcorn, pizza toppings, in pet stores, kid's birthdays...

What's left of the independent societies scavange for food living like roaches but often getting caught and eaten. But rare few anthros keep them, not just as pets but also friends, some believe that the belief humans are not just food but they are people. While it started small this group of human advocates are growing in numbers making their own groups to try to legally end the consumption of humans.

And then there's Chase.

As you can see here he isn't all for eating humans but he isn't against toying with them either. In said case one human got curious and snuggled up against him in bed and Chase decided to really snuggle him. Who knows how long he'll keep him in there...but he'll probably come out soon though...maybe in a few months...looks like Chase made a friend!
