The Queen is bugpudge, long live the King?
After all, if using his love like a firehose on Chrysalis made Thorax ascend to a royal form, why shouldn't it work with Breeze as well? Of course, his method of regicide isn't exactly conducive to the other metamorphosis that Thorax discovered.
