You try to whine at the little fox, although lacking any vocal cords you instead have to simply turn your head inquisitively. Seemingly disarming any aggression from the little creature, you still position yourself between the purple kobold and the little one to defend her, just in case the situation devolves. After all, she is the first creature to show you a friendly reaction in this place and you feel fairly comfortable in the presence of these peculiar suited lizards.

The mood shifts when the other two kobolds arrive. One of them unsuited and much more imposing than those in orange. Bearing the same red colouration of the militant types who appear to immediately change their behaviour to be much more submissive in their presence. The purple’s mood also shifts, continuing to pet at your neck and watching intently as they arrive.

The larger of the kobolds is quick to make noises, barking orders at the others who hold steady, positioning themselves to fan out. A clear sense of aggression to their actions, although the purple kobold continues to try and keep you at ease, apparently attempting to reassure you that there is nothing to fear.

The grey fox seems unsure what to do, keeping an eye on the entire scene, possibly ready to bolt at a moment’s notice but whose intent is hard to read. The small brain ticking over as it considers the circumstances. For you, the options seem clear. But you will have to choose carefully - and don’t have long to do so.
