This is a somewhat satirical offering to the “Pride Month” altar. An altar that seemingly everyone is offering to and that I’ve been endlessly bombarded with whilst trolling my preferred sites. Still, setting aside my feelings about that I should explain the meaning behind this flag.

Although it may look quite crude, every part of it has meaning and depth to it starting with the very obvious two tone color. I chose to have two colors because when you strip away all the other fetishes surrounding vore it very quickly boils down to a binary world of predator and prey. At the end of the day you either have a full belly or are filling someone else’s, it’s that simple. Even in the case of nesting doll vore, it doesn’t matter if someones in your belly if you’re in someone else’s, at that point you are just prey. Not to disparage other fetishes, I’m only speaking in the context of pure vore.

As for the colors, they were chosen to best represent predator and prey in a very primal way, though maybe not the most flattering one. The red is for predators as it is the color of blood, the thing all predators in the wild seek. Though blood may not be the most favorite thing in the vore community it still has its place there. Green is for prey mainly for the fact that the vast majority of prey are herbivores, but also for the dichotomy it has with red. Another point to notice of the colors is that even though they equally cover the flag, they are not balanced on it. This was not just an aesthetic choice but a part of the symbolism of the flag, it represents the natural power imbalance that has and always will exist between predators and their prey.

And of course there is the central feature of the flag the sideways V that has its own double meaning. First and most obvious is that fact that it looks like an open mouth, the most essential core of what vore is all about. Then there is its other symbolism as the Greater Than sign in math, which doubles down on the idea that predators have a superior place in the world of vore than prey. In nearly all vore media this is the case, that prey are totally at the whim of their predator. This is the aspect of vore that is most meaningful to me.
