Ok I'm going to weigh in here, only learn to draw if you want to, there are loads of tutorials on youtube and pinterest, I learned a few techniques from those, you can get advice from artists but on their terms, don't even need a drawing tablet, pencil and paper will do

and keep drawing

This was advice I was given when I first learned how to draw and then improved it over the years

Yes I do know how it feels, although my experience is probably different to yours, I had a nervous breakdown years ago, felt like life was getting me no where but there has to be a point where you have to help yourself, I was bullied when I was younger and struggled with my mentality until I decided enough was enough, I found that once I wanted to help myself my world got a lot brighter, I’ve lost family and friends from time to just friendships becoming strained

There was the time when I had a victim mentality for the longest of times, even if it was me who started it until I decided for myself that I no longer wished to have this mentality, it took me years to accept this and I’m still trying to better myself, the only way I found some form of normality was think positively, I can’t tell you how you can move forward, you have to be the one to decide that

By my was it a bid different i live in a big family we all had our flaws well except me if you asked me something i could do it but than i tried something i really liked but no matter what thanks to my adhd i kept falling they all put so much effort in me trying to make that perfect boy and i let them down now i just sit allown at family getterings nobody to talk to so I started drawing but I wasn’t that good at it i could feel/see there shame if it wasn’t perfect it isn’t good enough now they have my 16 year old cousin fun fact she smokes/drinks/has sex since she was 14 and well lets just not start about school i had a lot of racism and sexism if you are wondering i am a white cis male so that is my story in short i don’t like new things thanks to being scared to disepoint
