Another fun volume calculation: Humans, on average, have a caloric density of ~2180 kcal/L, while fat tissue (assuming 80% fat/5% protein/10% water) has a density of 0.916 g/cm^3 and 7.4 kcal/g, for ~6780 kcal/L.

Thus, if a digested person's caloric yield were converted entirely into belly fat tissue, you'd expect the volume to decrease by a factor of about 3.1 (and the belly diameter only by a factor of about 1.46).

However of course, inefficient conversion as well as fat being added in other places will substantially decrease the volume fraction of the potbelly left behind after digesting someone.
