There’s a condition that Solars try hard to suppress and decrease awareness of in order to maintain diplomacy—Black Hole Syndrome. After allowing enough people into their personal universes, they can begin to crave more. They want to give those around them the feeling of absolute bliss that comes with inhabiting their insides.
With undisciplined Solars, this can lead into whole ships and even planets being consumed, willingly or not...
