While Sakura restrains Marunomi, Hinata attempts to strike a vulnerable chakra node on Marunomi's belly, hoping that it will finally defeat her. However, before she can land the hit, Marunomi uses the heft of her own bloated belly to knock Hinata away, sending her flying. Marunomi then frees herself from Sakura's grip with a headbutt and looks back at Hinata as she falls through the air, looking quite vulnerable.
