“A neighbor called it in the morning of November first. The woman next door reported that the front door had been left wide open with the porch light still on. There were no signs of forced entry. Nothing had been taken, but the family was nowhere to be seen. Their beds were made and had apparently not been slept in. The car was still parked in the driveway, and every other door and window was locked. The family's home security system included several security cameras stationed at each side of the house. The front door camera picked up something at three seventeen a.m. the previous night. Long after the last trick-or-treater had come by, an unidentified subject wearing some sort of costume is seen walking up to the door. The subject then stands there motionless for over forty-eight minutes. At five minutes past the hour, the porch light is seen to flicker on. Three minutes pass. The door is then seen to swing open, seemingly unprompted. The unknown subject remains standing for a further four minutes before turning around and walking away. None of the family members are recorded leaving the house, and multiple searches revealed no hidden areas for anyone to hide. No further evidence relating to the family’s disappearance has been found.”
