I haven't drawn my Gobblisk monsters in ages. It was going to be a simple sketch, and evolved into this.

Gobblisks are interdimentional creatures that are able to create wormholes for themselves to travel. If food is scarce in their territory, mothers will pluck up prey from other worlds and bring them home to her nest to feed the baby.

And this one happened to find Casey! Probably just out on a walk or something, then suddenly grabbed and pulled through a portal by this thing. And in a short moment she'll get to see the inside of one of these majestic creatures! It's going to be a tight fit, but it shouldn't be a problem downing her.

Isn't nature beautiful?

Some facts about the Gobblisk:

-Will only swallow live prey whole, which is why they often nest on rocky planets with Oxygen and an atmosphere.

-They swallow oxygen even though they don't need it, but it keeps squirming prey alive.

-They don't gain fat from eating, but will grow in length roughly half the height of who they ate. Well fed individuals may be hundreds of feet long.

-No evidence to suggest prey is actually digested, as the entire body is a fleshy tube without organs. Current theory says that prey may be sent to some pocket dimension after being squeezed through the entire body.

-A Gobblisk will almost never turn down a meal, as long as it is alive and can move. Gobblisks reach a blissful, overjoyed state when prey is squirming inside.

-They do not need to eat to live. They do so to gain length, and for simple enjoyment.

-They drool constantly.

-Notoriously hard to kill, requiring a powerful energy weapon. Some alien species hunt them (as they can be a menace), and a few even eat them. Gobblisk meat is said to be sweet and flaky if cooked properly.

-Adults have a gland behind the centre eye that allows them to open portals just wider than their heads, and travel between worlds and dimensions. They can also simply look into another world before choosing to enter it.

-They can be forced to send themself to a specific place - summoning - through magic spells and rituals.

-They lack a true language, but produce a variety of grunts and moans to cover the basics.

-Able to ignore gravity entirely, and act much like an eel underwater, no matter where they are.

-The only difference between genders is that males have five ridges on their heads, females have three.

-No one knows how widespread they are, as they are found in just about every galaxy.

-Not known for their intellect, their brains are reptilian, and are very food driven.

-In contrast, they prefer intelligent, high sentient prey that will fight back.

-Can be just about any colour, but bright primaries are most common.

-Lifespan is unknown, as none have been observed to die naturally.

-If you come across a Gobblisk, or one happens to grab you, there's a 99% chance you're getting eaten.
