I dig monster movies not just because of the vore opportunity but because the monster is always representational of some sort of human sin (when told well). In Deep Rising, a cruise ship filled with rich people lavishing in gluttony is sabotaged so the insurance money on the ship could be fraudulently collected. That plan goes awry when it's met by a monster hungry for something else. When the monsters inside us are let loose, so are the real monsters.

"A crew of mercenaries board the Argonautica, a luxury cruise ship out on its maiden voyage, with plans to reap the wealth of its passengers. Upon finding the ship dead in the water, the crew missing, Diane's partner-in-crime Riley begins to suspect mutiny. But both women are about to discover that they've bitten off far more than they can chew.

The same can't be said for the famished beast lurking in the floodwaters."

Really love that movie. My favorite scene was that one scene of one of the female passengers getting pulled down through the toilet.

Those things made instant work of their prey. Definitely gave me a few nightmares. Ranked right up there with my wife's cats running around at night causing me dreams of roaming facehuggers.
