And now, the legend herself brings this Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity hype train to the end. All of my ideas for this naturally revolved around her until I decided to do separate stories following Nintendo of America's Twitter's own order of hype images (that became the thumbnails for these). Naturally, they saved the best for last. It's what I would have done too.
Don't worry. Although this story takes place presumably at the end of the campaign, I haven't gotten that far yet, so this based off only trailers and Breath of the Wild. Because the image of Zelda is her at full power, I figured the most logical place for this story to take place was during the final battle against Calamity Ganon himself. I also had the idea for Zelda to use her powers to save those who accompanied her on this doomed final charge from having their bodies used for something terrible by dissolving them and taking their souls into the safe haven of her body.
I also decided to end it on a happier note by showing the end of Breath of the Wild with Calamity Ganon's proper defeat. These stories are supposed to be in celebration after all! Of course, while that is a happier note, we must remember that when all is said in done Age of Calamity is only the first part of the trilogy and Breath of the Wild the second. There is still the Sequel after, and we know that another evil, longer dead than Calamity Ganon, shall return...
And with this, I've written six stories in a little over a day, so now I'm going to take a brief hiatus until I decide what I want to do for Thanksgiving. Ciao!

Of course the Zelda story is the longest. Also
techtician, the puns have spread to the tags!

That shouldn't surprise you in the slightest. Had I been strict about a page limit, I could have not had the ending part, which would have left this as long as Mipha's or Urbosas, but then I would have had to shorten Impa's story too. And partly it's longer because Ganon decided he wanted to have some narration in the beginning.

Don't invoke his name.

Oh yeah, never checked on the aftermath from yesterday. *summons popcorn*
Posted by ZeldaNoVorsu 4 years ago Report
Oh dear... It's still ongoing.

Well I guess I'll come by later to pick up the rubble. I should really finish that prequel rewatch in the meantime.

Whoa, I'm not
CrystalKiller88. Tech isn't going to blow me up... In fact, he won't even lay a finger on me. There probably won't be a lot to pick up depending on how things go, so enjoy your movies.

Yeah, judging from the conversation, the results will probably be more brown and smelly, and I'm not the resident pooper-scooper. Just an average judge of an arbitrary contest.

Yeah, and I think I might end up in the sewers this time, meaning it'd be hard to get me out anyways... I really need to find a way to even the score with this guy.
Posted by derpsquid42 4 years ago Report
The big problem is that you have alternate versions, meaning one story or image can count for up to 7, but as far as we know, there's only one Tech. Hmm, maybe I should commission the kaminoans to work on something... What's the conversion rate on Mario coins to galatic credits?

I ALREADY HAVE IDENTITY CRISES DUE TO MY REFORMATION TECH DO NOT CURSE ME WITH CLONES!
Posted by ZeldaNoVorsu 4 years ago Report
Calculating how many Techs would need to be eaten in one story to instantly even the score.
Posted by derpsquid42 4 years ago Report
Fair enough, pretty sure the exchange rate is ridiculous anyway. You know, you could use 1ups, they're much more effective, and you can hold 1110 of them. Not every one is immortal like Scribey here.
Posted by ZeldaNoVorsu 4 years ago Report
If you know the right trick with 1-Ups, you're basically immortal though. That's why I can keep feeding you to Peachy without remorse.
Posted by derpsquid42 4 years ago Report
Looks like most of us have some sense of immortality, then. What about Crystal and Smax? Crystal's is implied, knowing his beef with Viridi, but I'm not sure about Smax. And Lurker is obviously immortal, no questions about it.
Posted by ZeldaNoVorsu 4 years ago Report
Crystal... seems to just be like that annoying bug you can't squash. He just comes back despite most people's intent to be rid of him. Smax is but then isn't. He mostly relies on a system of cloning and memory backups, so like Legends Palpatine but without the continued existence of one spirit passing between bodies as the previous ones die for various reasons. Is Lurker immortal though? When's the last time you even saw him?

Their profile say they're still active, I guess they're fine with just lurking, which is in the name. My headcanon is that they're some kind of demon, only there to cause chaos or sell t-shirts.
Posted by ZeldaNoVorsu 4 years ago Report
Shrugs. He's more alive than the portal was yesterday, I suppose. I definitely agree with that headcanon though.

Yeah, wonder what that was about. Server maintenance, maybe?
Posted by ZeldaNoVorsu 4 years ago Report
I don't know. When they migrated server's they had a page up explaining, but this time it was just down for a couple hours. At first I was getting a 502, which means the server is down, but then I was getting 522, which meant I could connect to the server, but the server took too long to respond. Maybe it got DDoSed?
Posted by derpsquid42 4 years ago Report
I don't think someone would do that, but maybe. The people here are kind of isolated from the rest of the web, so we don't really invade or get invaded. Well, at least the lack of Eka's let me finish that prequel rewatch. I must say: better than I remember.
Posted by ZeldaNoVorsu 4 years ago Report
Could have just been a general internet issue where ever the server is physically located. The Prequels as a whole aren't terrible. They have some stumble moments, though really only in the first two, but they really got over-hated because if there's one thing the internet is good at, it's overreacting to things and giving less than desirable voices a platform to spread vitriol and claim that they're a majority... The Star Wars fandom wars really come down to two small opposing sides on things like Twitter when the vast majority just enjoy the movies. Sure, they like some more than others, but they don't go around hating them or claiming Star Wars is dead or that certain people aren't fans when they don't like a movie as much.

I am technically immortal due to my creators' technology but I'll be more droid than human after too long
Posted by ZeldaNoVorsu 4 years ago Report
You mean "more machine than man, twisted and evil?"

Stop that

Stop what?
Posted by ZeldaNoVorsu 4 years ago Report
I know some Sith that'll do it for free as long as I convince them I am their rightful leader.
Posted by derpsquid42 4 years ago Report
Isn't that ability considered... unnatural?
Posted by ZeldaNoVorsu 4 years ago Report
Only to some.
Posted by techtician 4 years ago Report
I don't have to.
I have divine intervention on my side.
Posted by ZeldaNoVorsu 4 years ago Report
This is so far separated, I'm not sure what he's responding to, but he does have me on his side most of the time.
Posted by techtician 4 years ago Report
Raising a finger to you. I have Zelda to do that.

Sweats nervously.
