After the recent Dragonspine event, I had to draw this. Sorry, not sorry.
Sucrose spent the entire day without eating and ended up paying for it. When an idiot adventurer she was looking after, shoves her to the ground, causes a giant plant monster to sprout from the earth, and give everyone a miserable time fighting it off, she couldn't help but let her subconsciousness take over.
During the chaos, she gobbled up the fool who caused the ordeal to happen and sated her hunger with a large, cowardly vegetarian looking meal. Unfortunately for Sucrose, she didn't realize the massive pillar of a green delicacy was actually meat.
Aether, Albedo and Paimon were all shocked at what became of the so-called adventurer they were trying to protect.
"Oh the Archons, Sucrose what have you done!?" Aether blurted out.
"Sucrose do you mind explaining where that swelling of yours came from?" questioned Albedo.
"I-I'm sorry! I didn't eat for the whole day! I was so hungry!" The meek and woman tried her best to explain herself, but she wasn't the assertive sort.
"Wow! So BIG! Paimon knew you had it in you Sucrose!" Paimon congratulates.
"P-please stop staring!" Sucrose whined.
"This will be troublesome news for the Adventurers' Guild to hear later..."
"So... Paimon already forgot what his name was... uhh.... Breakfast Salad?"
"Reckless Pallad." said Aether.
"Well he sure looks like breakfast now! Paimon doesn't think there's anything we can do here."
A low grumble was coming from Sucrose's stomach. Pallad was kicking about as hard as he could in there, causing a huge "BWUUUOOOOOAAAARRRP" to erupt from the girl's throat, causing the whole group to cringe.
"Ow.... please settle down...." Sucrose clutched her belly tight to restrict the painful movements happening within. She looked at the three in front of her, mouth hanging open from fatigue. While breathing heavily, a drop of drool escaped as she shamefully licked her lips dry.
"Well that's a sign if Paimon has ever heard one. Umm... let's explore the area ahead of us later..."
The three pondered over what was to be done about the soon to be digested victim. Eventually, they all agreed that Breakfast Salad wasn't worth the trouble of saving from Sucrose's belly and that they will just tell the Adventurers' Guild that he got eaten by the regisvine and died instead.
Time lapse is 8-9 hours.

They have to look at it like this
He was going to be eaten one day by some creature
So its better for him to be food for surcose than a creature
Besides it also keeps him from never getting in trouble ever again

Pallad’s just a really dumb traveller that nearly froze to death. Can’t hate the man cause he gave the next method to buy out the event store

I can, since there were active heat devices within walking distance to his sides. Yet he goes for the dangerous looking floating sword the party checking up on.

Sucrose brought him into the cold corner when he was blanking out from frost instead of the heat thing right by.
A man with extreme frost has a far worse sense of decisions than someone like sucrose who didn’t get him to one of the pillars
Why he ran at the sword made complete sense, as it was the brightest thing in his dazed af vision and he was completely desperate when sucrose went to “help” him and just looked at him freezing and said ”wait”

Okay that makes a lot more sense. This can shift some of the blame to Sucrose, who didn't eat all day, making poor decisions herself. On top of the Fatui being distraction. The cutscene made it look like she forgot too.
Then at the end of the fight he was squating in front of the heat device, where he should've been the whole time, which was also in walking distance from the very beginning. He could've walked to it before the Fatui showed up. Sure, you could blame Sucrose, but Pallad was perfectly capable of getting to the device on his own before everything happened. If he had that much energy to go for the sword after the cold got worse and not the heat device while he wasn't freezing as much, I don't see much of a reason to forgive him, sorry.
Much respect for standing up for a npc though.

Before the fight, Sucrose said he couldn’t really walk on his own which is why he was transported (into a cold corner) Then during and after the fight he was just in that corner going in and out of consciousness from the frost he was just left with by sucrose.
Once he did regain consciousness, he saw a bright ass thing which he very likely ran to it just off survival instincts and desperation.
(also I’m not really sure what sucrose not eating has to do with it)

If he couldn't walk on his own, he wouldn't have been able to run to the sword in the first place.

Thats just his body putting all strength and pushing its power into getting him to the safety sucrose didnt provide. its going past limits to survive, but it has backlash after
the first thing he noticed as a heat source was the sword so in turn he pushed himself beyond to attempt at survival

There's no point in blaming sucrose anymore for his mistakes, since he was more than capable of saving himself from freezing before anyone arrived at the very least. since not only were there warming devices at the spot where he was found, but all over the mountain trail as well.
He wouldn't have been able to climb the mountain at all of he didn't make use of one of those at least once. He's capable of recognizing the devices on his own since he survived for so long. So whether or not Sucrose helped him doesn't matter because he could've helped himself before causing a disaster for everyone.
Also, if you were regaining consciousness from the bitter cold, you wouldn't be able to get up and run immediately, and having the strength to push someone down and tackle another person on top of that. Even if he were pushing himself as you say, he wouldn't even be able to get to his feet if that were the case. You don't suddenly overpower your body freezing after you fall asleep in the cold. The human body does not work that way.

first, I’m not blaming sucrose for the pallad’s dumb dumb actions before they came down the hill, the fucker shouldve stayed as put, and he fucked himself by trying to do shit on his own. Never defended him for that
Sucrose did though say she’d help him during the fight, and led the man to a freezing corner then just stared at him after, which is where I’d put blame on sucrose
On the barely not being able to move
Sucrose confirmed he needed movement, and he’s been in the cold enough for our character to be drying of frost so I don’t believe sucrose was wrong.
What I do know is that he got up and sounded desperate af for the warmth so survival instincts from a freezing man is all I got for that,
