Apple for Ebony 2: Rainbow Rush
 
"Eeeehehehehe.... I can explain." Was all Ebony could say as Rainbow Dash stared at his round form, flanked by an empty pie dish as big as he was, and a potion bottle that was completely empty and tipped to the side, dripping a light blue fluid. In short, the aftermath of a big dinner.
 
APPLEJACK PIE.
 
Rainbow Dash had seen her best bud and rival come in here a little bit ago but did not come out, so she had come in to investigate. Unfortunetly she had walked in on... this. Ebony was in a state of panic when Rainbow Dash saw his home... and him.
 
"Where is Applejack?!" Rainbow said, her face twisting in anger. Ebony had to hope the reformative kicked in real soon.
 
"Look... I know it looks... *urp*... bad... but please let me explain. She was given a potion to-"
 
And Ebony didn't get to finish as Rainbow Dash slammed him in the head with a hard kick. Even as plump as he became from his massive meal of mare he was sent into a nearby wall and seeing stars. Rainbow came over and raised a hoof.
 
"You cannibal pony! If I have to get AJ back the hard way let's do it the hard way!" She cracked her fore hooves and got ready to slam them into his gut when Ebony belched out a small glowing orb.
 
Both watched as the orb settled near where Applejacks hat (and therefore a tiny bit of her hair) and began to reconstruct bit by bit. It was a little unnerving to watch at first but was beautiful after a moment. When it was over there stood Applejack, smiling and sighing as she returned to life, her tail swaying slightly.
 
"Ahhhhh.... what a feelin!" Applejack said smiling... and then she saw Rainbow Dash, jaw wide open, eyes bulging out. "Uhhhhhh... howdy?"
 
RD, to her credit, wasn't upset, wasnt scared, and was not grossed out. But she just stood there a moment. Then she turned to Ebony.
 
"I got my eye on you cannibal pony. Don't think for one SECOND I won't be, because I know this was a trick." And with that she was gone. The two looked to one another with a worried glance.
 
"Maybe we should hold off for awhile." Ebony said with concern in his voice, still a little unsteady from the kick. Applejack sighed.
 
"Ah suppose your right. But ah'll talk to her." She finally said giving a peck on the cheek. She smiled and tipped her hat before heading out, leaving Ebony to his thoughts.
 
"This is going to get rough..."

"... and then next thing I know there she was! It was like she had never been anywhere but there, but I saw her put together right before my eyes!"
 
Twilight sighed annoyingly. Rainbow had a knack for exaggerating things but this was a Pinkie Pie level of a doozie. Didn't help that she was talking about the newest citizen of Ponyville. With all they had been through and with Twilight moving away soon to Canterlot the last thing she needed was for Rainbow to lose her head. So she sighed and calmly regarded Rainbow Dash with a small smile.
 
"Rainbow, given what we have been through with nearly losing Equestria to those three and my move to Canterlot away from everyone and just the general air of change, don't you think this is kind of a bad time for tall tales?"
 
"I'M SERIOUS!" Rainbow insisted. Twilight managed a chuckle.
 
"I know you are. Your also a little bit of a hypocrite."
 
Rainbow Dash blinked. "What?"
 
"Considering who your in a relationship with?"
 
Rainbow Dash opened her mouth to speak but said nothing. It was no secret anymore that she and the green dragon FT were really close. Like MA levels of close. And she was often...
 
"But that's different Twilight! He's a DRAGON! It's only natural then."
 
Twilight sighed and put a hoof on Rainbow Dash. "And it is also natural to be happy. And you saw Applejack with him. They are happy."
 
Rainbow finally smiled. "Yeah.... your right Twi." She looked out at Ponyville. "Everything is happening so fast. I love fast but... first your moving, then the announcement for Pinkie Pies wedding... now this. It's just...."
 
Twilight hugged her friend. "It was just the straw that broke your back huh?"
 
Rainbow nodded.
 
"Well I say talk to them. And you might just find things haven't changed that much."
 
Rainbow saw her smile and gave a final hug before trotting off. Once she was gone Twilight opened the kitchen, seeing Spike with a chef's outfit on.
 
"Now... where were we Spike?"
 
Spike licked his lips and showed Twilight the recipe. He was too eager to say much.

Rainbow stood outside the barn at Sweet Apple Acres. She took a deep breath and knocked on the door. She had to make this right given how rude she had been. She wasn't a bad pony by any means, just incredibly loyal. As such if it looked like her friends were being hurt...
 
The door opened to reveal Applejack. She was a little sweaty from chores, but the mare still smiled.
 
"Hi Rainbow." She said.
 
"Hi Applejack." Rainbow replied scratching the back of her foreleg. "Look.... I'm sorry about before. I just wasnt expecting the pony you like to be a cannibal, so I was kinda taken by suprise. But I have the least room to talk dont I."
 
"EEEEEYUP." Big Mac said from in back, making everyone chuckle. Applejack hugged Rainbow Dash and welcomed her in.
 
"Ah know your heart was in the right place sugarcube." Applejack said. "And ta be fair ah should have told ya especially."
 
Rainbow blushed. "Sooo.... what was it like?"
 
Applejack chuckled. "Ya sure ya wanna know? Pie was involved."
 
Rainbow Dash nodded. "I mean I know from FT.... but I mean that is a dragon. And I wondered if it was different with..."
 
"Ok. It. Was. Amazing." Applejack said. "He massages me before with the spices then uses the rolling pin over the dough on my back or front...." Applejack blushed as Rainbow Dash began to go full spread with her wings.
 
"Wow. That does sound... nice."
 
Applejack chuckled. "An that was just pie!" She smiled. "But he ain't just eatin' me. We talk and work the farm and go all over the place. Was hard when I was all busy with school and the map, but ah sure like the downtime now."
 
Rainbow smiled. "Like it is with me and FT. Now I really feel like a buzzkill."
 
"Yall were looking out for me. An besides Eb is pretty understandin. He knows ya just overreacted."
 
Rainbow Dash blushed. Then she thought. "Think I know how to make it up to him."
 
Applejack gave a sly smile. "If yer thinkin' what ah think yer thinkin' ya can count on mah support."
 
Rainbow Dash gave a hoof bump. "Ok... then here is what I want to do..."

Ebony smiled as he looked over his makeshift potion shop. His house was now well and truly finished, so now he needed a way to make bits... legally that is. He transmuted some stones into bits to get his first essentials and sold a few things to last this long but now he needed a true business.
 
It was Applejack that gave him the idea to sell potions made by him and Zecora. The zebra had been hard to approach... or so it seemed at first at least... but she agreed to be a part of it so she could see her pony friends and students at the school of friendship. Besides it was added income for her.
 
Course not all potions could be sold. The main shop would sell mundane ones that did basic things like hoof cleaning or spicing up goodies. The more powerful ones were on special order only. Being as both Zecora and Ebony were expert potion makers they could do almost anything. But they had guidelines from the four princesses what not to do, such as love poisons or mind control. Friendly and fun was the main thing.
 
"Of course..." Ebony mused out loud. "Its halarious that she wanted a cake making potion sometime. And that Pip wanted one that turned him into living candy. Obvious much little guy?"
 
"Hi."
 
Ebony froze at the female voice from the door. He turned and saw Rainbow Dadh standing there, an apologetic look in her eyes.
 
"Hi Rainbow Dash." Ebony said. "Sorry I didn't tell anyone about what Applejack and I do."
 
Rainbow Dash shrugged. "No big. I'm more sorry I interrupted your afterglow. As Twilight reminded me I am the last one who can say anything. FT and I get into more shenanigans than you ever could. I just assumed FT was the only one."
 
Ebony made a mental note to meet FT sometime. "Either way thanks for the apology. Truth be told Applejack is the first girl I met I think I have a solid relationship with. I have known others but they never worked out."
 
Rainbow blinked at that. "How many others?"
 
Ebony chuckled. "Three. But they were not meant to be."
 
Rainbow walked in and looked about. She traced the floor with her hoof. "Soooooo.... I want to make it up to you for ruining your meal earlier."
 
Ebony blinked. "Really? How?"
 
Rainbow moved closer. "Well since I interrupted your meal... perhaps... I could take its place one time?"
 
Ebony blinked. "What?"
 
"You can eat me. I'm not sure how this whole reformation thing works but FT eats me all the time and I am ok... so I think I can trust you."
 
Ebony smiles some and offers a hug. "Aj said you girls like these. "
 
Rainbow Dash gave the hug and smiled. "Yeah. But a hoofbump is 20% cooler."
 
Ebony nodded and led Rainbow towards the massive kitchen on the second floor. It took some redesign to turn the one story house into a three story home, but now the kitchen looked... romantic. Rainbow Dash was led to the butcher block in the center o f the room and laid down on it. Ebony came over and felt Rainbow up.
 
"Yes.... very athletic. Clearly not dessert material... but you would he a tasty soup."
 
Ebony chuckled at her reaction.
 
"Before you say a word yes I can make you into soup easily."
 
"No I didnt doubt that... its just... FT made me into soup with the Wonderbolts. It was pretty... awesome." She blushed.
 
"Well... then this is going to be scrumptious." Ebony smiled and began to massage savory spices into her, and then went to get a big pot ready to boil.

Some time later, Applejack knocked on the door. It took a moment but Ebony answered.
 
"Hi sugarcube." She said, the two nuzzling. "Is Rainbow and y'all good?"
 
Ebony chuckled. "See for yourself." He led Applejack upstairs, where in the one corner Rainbow Dash was relaxing in a big pot of soup, veggies floating around her, the scent even Applejack unable to lick her lips at. Rainbow sighed relaxingly.
 
"Hey AJ. Wanna join me for some soup?"
 
At first Applejack was going to say no... but then she smiled deviously at Ebony who suddenly swallowed.
 
"Now wait a minute girls. One, I do not think I can handle two mares at once, and two even if I could you would take a long time to digest and reform!"
 
Applejack smiled. "Dun tell us yer chicken sugarcube, or not wanting all of this yummy mare?"
 
Rainbow Dash winked and grinned deviously. "Yeah, and if you can't maybe WE should get YOU. I mean yeah I expected dragons to do this... but now I am curious about it... so yeah I'll try if you fail."
 
Ebony swallowed. This was not what he expected. But he finally shrugged. "Alright. You havent been in the soup too long.... so yeah I guess so."
 
The two mares smiled with a wink as Applejack climbed into the pot, setting her hat aside. Ebony swallowed nervously as he looked at the dinner that had now been suggested.
 
But he did smile in the end as he stirred the soup and poured some of it over the two mares. He was feeling like he had a home again and someone to share life with, as well as acceptance from family and friends. He traced his hoof on the two and took a taste.
 
Friendship was delicious.

From her window at Sugarcube Corner, Pinkie Pie was watching through a pair of soda bottles. She watched as Ebony was dining on big bowls of soup, downing it.
 
Pinkie had watched already what was IN set soup and how he treated one of the mares in it. But..m it wasnt right! Applejack was supposed to be with Rainbow Dash!
 
A SHIPWRECKER!
 
"And," she said turning to the reader, "I will not let anyone ruin my friends ships. They mean too much that they are happy!"
