- shedding the skin doesn't hurt.
- a shed skin will crumble into space dust after a while.
- the skin works as a protective layer, the tentacles have 50 different senses on 50 different dimensional layers to perceive reality. it can get a little overwhelming, the skin filters some of that sensory input.
- the skin feels like a normal part of its body, it can feel when its being touched, temperature, etc.
- it can temporarily leave a skin and later enter it again & reconnect with it as long as it's still fresh enough. it cannot control a skin from a distance however.
- finished skin feels soft, firm, meaty and is a little malleable little like dough.
- the tentacles feel like a tongue, very smooth surface though.
- skin smells sweetish, bubblegum with a hint of fresh rubber tire. pink goo smells like artificial strawberry aroma, almost nauseatingly sweet.
