Similar to travelers to Oblitus, most who sail out into Peri Sula are also poor people from Pauper. All in an attempt to get a large chunk of money. Mostly for good reasons of course. Often having no other options. Or owing a loan shark so much money that they are forced to become part of a crew that will travel to Peri Sula. Traveling here is much easier than traveling to Oblitus as it's not far off from the west coast of Pauper. Still death tolls are high. One third of all sailors won't return. Mostly accounting for newbies.

He we see one of Peri Sulas most notorious hunters, Isa. She's not the biggest or strongest, but she is the hungriest. Having the highest confirmed kill count out of any of the sealife there. Often prowling the borders of Peri Sula. Picking off ships on their way in or out of the area. Here she's caught what seems like a small fishing vessel. Having already eaten all of the crew except one. She is known for playing with her prey. Enjoying them one at a time rather than gulping them down quickly. Inducing much fear in her prey, but also giving opportunities to escape her.
