First of all they needed to catch an hilichurl alive. And after this put him, or her, or it, or how do you even define who they are, inside the Aether belly. Of course Sucrose took samplese before and after digestion of a test subject and registry changes in taste, consistation and chewness of Aethers baby butter.
Experiment gives slightly different results than expected. Seemingly consuming a whole hilichurl alive makes you slightly horny and also has a positive effect on your hair. So, remember kids, one hilichurl a day keeps baldness at bay!
And yes it does slightly change the taste of the semen, but, according to Sucrose words, she needs a little more testing to make sure of it. And probably she also needs to collect some samples for private investigation too. All in the name af alchemy of course.
