Here is a more casual piece. It’s time for the big Splatfest, but Callie is a little upset about the upcoming hiatus, so it’s up to Marie to spice things up.
Fun Fact: It is actually canon that cannibalism does exist in the Splatoon universe in some form or another.

Plume7: Just have fun. =P

Constructive criticisms welcome as well! ^.^

But no shaming each other in the comments. -3-

Marie notes the pun if you rematch the final boss in Splatoon 2.
And in the original Splatoon, there was a Japanese exclusive Splatfest between squid meals and octopus meals.
I think that’s evidence enough.

Heh, with how casual respawning is in Splatoon, makes sense I guess that 'internal splatting' would occur sometimes!

While it is canon that squids eat squids in reality, and Splatoon in some way shape and ect, Callie is the one species of squid that actually eats anything but other squids. Bigfin Reef Squid.

Which was weird because during the JP Splatfest Squids Vs. Octopus, this was brought up.

Not what I read online. They even practice swimming in schools to protect from bigger bigfin reef squids.
Besides, even if Callie’s species didn’t do it naturally, I wouldn’t put it past her to try it anyway~

Inklings don't partake in cannibalism. Sure, they eat squids, but that is no different from ig we ate orangutans. Yes, we have a close relation, but they aren't the same species. Same thing applies in Splatoon.

Then why can’t we turn into monkies?
