So Im a little late for this but here is my #voreday2021 piece and since its also smaugust I went a dragon pred with an underwater setting for the nautical theme

Im really proud of this so any comments that will help me do better art are appreciated

My first guess was Pliosaur, but still, very lovely maw. The coral foreground is good for the atmosphere and the scared prey getting squished down looks good too. That gold tooth is a nice detail for a dragon too.
For future projects I think playing with reflexions or slight opaqueness in the water will help display the shape and size of the pred.
Very nice work overall. Aquatic scenes like this are rare for some reason.
