The epic finale to the story of Skyward Vore! Link, having obtained the Triforce in the previous chapter, uses the ultimate power it possesses to vanquish the Demon King for good, and everyone lives happily ever after... wait, what did I just say? Unfortunately, things almost work out, but there is one final plot twist that gets in the way of our heroes happy ending. It seems time travel can be made to serve both good and evil. What happens then? Will Link and Zelda ever be able to reunite without some kind of complication? Find out in the thrilling conclusion!
-------------------------------------------
I have long had the broad strokes of this finale plotted out, even before I sat down to write the first chapter over two years ago. Originally, this series was going to be just three stories long (back then I don't think I realized what a lift squeezing the events of everything between chapter 1 and this chapter into a single story that would have been). The final battle played out mostly how I had it planned, though originally it was a lot shorter because it would have ended after Zelda did what she does, but I decided later that it wasn't epic enough compared to the other final battles I've done, and plotted out what happens. This is all a bit vague, I know, but I don't want to spoil too much in the description. I am very proud of this finale turned out though, since I was able to stick to my vision for it.
Playing through Skyward Sword HD definitely helped motivate me to finally finish this series. I find its story to be both compelling and very important, as it does a lot of world building for the rest of the series. Many of the elements it introduced were later picked up and referenced in Breath of the Wild, only increasing my love for both games. I always wanted to end this series with the chapter being titled after the series itself, for the legend can't truly begin until its first story has been concluded. Also, I want to give some special thanks to derpsquid42 for encouraging me to finally finish this series and providing support whenever I was trying to figure out how to proceed. You definitely helped me get this done faster once I finally got back to it.
While this is the final chapter of the main story, the original game has some cutscenes during the end credits that are prime material for one last story. I think an epilogue focusing on them will be a fitting way to bookend the series that started with three prologues as well.

Well that was an... interesting twist on the final battle. Could almost hear this playing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBLp-3Rw_u0
All jokes aside, you are very welcome for the help. It's been great seeing this series grow and evolve with your own skill as a writer over the last 3 years, and seeing your own twists on the original story really made it worth it. Glad to see Prime finally gets to rest for a while.

You know, I wasn't really thinking about that when I planned that twist. I just figured there should be some Zelda pred for the final chapter, and Demise had it coming. Originally, he was just going to be eaten and die from that, but it didn't feel appropriate. However, it's more than likely one of my favorite games could have been subconsciously influencing how things played out there.
I definitely think the end of the series benefited from my improvements during the 2 year hiatus I took on it. I wanted to honor the original story, but of course, I needed to add my own spins to it. The narration that dives into Link's thoughts are some of my favorite parts, especially when it revolves around Zelda... and naturally I needed to add a bit more to the ending scene to give us all what we wanted to have happen up on the statue originally (I did also imply another ship, just for you).
Prime isn't quite done yet. There's still an epilogue to write, then he may rest. Though, I might also go back and revisit the first couple of chapters to clean up some of the scenes to be more accurate to the story, rather than inferred from the quotes I looked up...

So there's Cartoon logic, There's Videogame logic, and now you've opened my eyes to another type of logic. The rule of 3 logic.
All jokes aside, a wonderful series and blend of a great story and vore. Always love it when a vore story has actual story that makes me come back for that and the vore segmants.

The Rule of Threes is versatile, able to pass between multiple mediums. Thank you for the kind words. As much fun as one off vore stories can be, I'm always drawn back to making an actual story that happens to have vore in it, something that makes you think and feel in more ways than one. I'll sometimes go back and re-read these just for the story and a bit of nostalgia.
