Once upon a time, on All Hallow's Eve,
a group of Pokemon were ready to leave.
They were all so excited to take on the night,
but when they got to the party, it was nowhere in sight!
There in its absence, a sight to behold -
a Gigantamax Gengar, with secrets untold..
..which said,"If you're here for the party, you're in the right place."
But it seemed to have vanished without even a trace.
And then it said, "Well, come on in, everyone is invited!"
And sucked them all in - they were far from delighted!

With paws and claws, they clung on with might.
"Don't swallow us, please!" They cried out in fright.

"But to join the festivities, let go, you must --
I will not harm you - this truth you must trust."

Although they were worried, they softened their grip.
They're swallowed down whole, a frightening trip!

Yet there before them the party had amassed --
Both ghosts and the living were having a blast!

There were presents, treats, games, and great fun --
something to do for everyone.

And even their loved ones, long since passed,
were united again, and could hug at long last.

Then once they were done, and ready for bed,
they headed back up -- in the air they could tread.

And as they left the spirit world behind,
they could cherish living with a new state of mind.

And as they headed off, they waved back up the lane,
"Happy Halloween, and we'll see you again!"

Something I drew up for Halloween, of Gigantamax Gengar sucking up the starters, pikachu and cubone. As you can tell in the story, as frightful as it might seem, they are actually fine and live to see many more Halloweens to come!
