Although forest walkers are well known for the massive guts they sport because of their ravenous appetites. A gut like this is extremely rare. Up until recently it was unknown how forest walkers "spawned". Many believed that they were physical manifestations of ghosts, since they have an uncanny ability to appear and disappear into the forest, but this has been disproven. Another hypothesis was that they are mutations of humans and that every now and then a woman would give birth to a girl that would eventually become a forest walker. Their is also not enough evidence to support this claim. One thing that researchers know for sure now is that they must have live births. At least seven pregnant forest walkers have been reported or seen in the last 40 years. Perhaps more but it is sometimes hard to tell whether the creature is pregnant or processing a large meal. At least twice researchers have done long term studies on known pregnant forest walkers.

They are seen to grow a large amount proportionally to their bodies. They also appear to have a change in behavior, acting a lot more cautiously and eating only their fill before retreating back to safety. Sadly researchers have not been able to observe the creature actually giving birth. Both times while researchers closely tailed the creature, the creature manages to get away or vanish into thin air. The first time researchers claimed that the forest walker walked into a thick fog and was never seen again. The second time, nearly a decade later, the researchers claimed the creature walked behind a tree but never came out the other side, as if vanishing into thin air. Another unknown fact is how do these forest walkers end up pregnant. No male counterpart of a forest walker has ever been seen or mentioned. In one particular case, the farmers and peasants of a town claim that months before the sighting of a pregnant forest walker, the towns resident hornball heard the rumors of a tall naked and pale woman in the woods. Whether he knew that the villagers were speaking of a forest walker or not is unknown since he drunkingly stumbled into the woods never to be seen again. Months later the gravid walker was spotted, leading to town gossip about how the man had succeeded in impregnating the creature and then was promptly eaten by it. There is currently no evidence for any of these claims.

I meant to post this yesterday for Halloween but got busy. I tried to make something "creepy" but I don't think that worked out well. I've also been trying to make my drawing less static, and again. feel like I failed in that regard. Anyway I hope you guys had a spooky Halloween!
