Forest walkers, as the name implies, wander the tall tree forests of the northern continent. Even while standing nearly 3 times taller than the average human, forest walkers make little to no sound what so ever. The only sounds that they ever produce are from their footsteps and the sounds made by their stomachs while breaking down the large meals they are accustomed to eating. Their diet consists of all things meat. As long as it made of meat, the forest walker will attempt to eat it, this includes birds, deer, wolves, cattle, horses, humans and sometimes even other monsters like griffons and werewolves. Luckily for humans, forest walkers have been seen to consistently engage in bizarre eating habits. If it's meal when caught gives little to no struggle, it will swallow it whole. Tests on captured walkers have consistently shown that live animals tend to get ripped apart and eaten because of their instinct to struggle, while dead animals and people instructed to stay calm are seen to be swallowed whole.

The creature has also been studied enough to surmise that their digestive process is extremely slow. Tests on a captured forest walker have shown that it takes around eight weeks to fully digest a whole cow, and evidence has shown that unlucky adventurers have survived up to two weeks within it's belly while properly supplied. Due to this slow digestive process, the forest walker is commonly seen sporting a large gut full of her previous meals. This is because the creature seems to have no control over it's eating habits or perhaps is forever hungry. If given the chance, a forest walker will gorge itself until immobile, and even then if given the opportunity, will continue to eat. Knowing this, villagers in known forest walker territory abuse the creatures ravenous nature by having all their livestock and horses in a "protective" ring around their villages. This way if a forest walker wanders in, the animals act as a buffer allowing the villagers to prepare. In some cases, villages have awoken to all their animals missing and a lone, immobile forest walker lying in the field where their cows used to be with a gut full meat.

I meant to post this yesterday for Halloween but got busy. I tried to make something "creepy" but I don't think that worked out well. I've also been trying to make my drawing less static, and again. feel like I failed in that regard. Anyway I hope you guys had a spooky Halloween!
