It is not canon
Timelines do not become reset when Holli respawns
So basically, you know about SAVE files in Undertale, right? And this is canon. A Chosen One can respawn because, by sleeping, they create a new SAVE file, and when they die, the gods reset their SAVE file to when they last slept, but only their body, the world/timeline does not reset, due to deities being deities and being able to reset one individual's SAVE file, they only do so with Chosen Ones, but the Chosen Ones still remember before they died, but their death seems very dreamlike. A Chosen One also respawns in the clothes that they slept in, they also wake up with a start. Also the old bodies still exist
Holli did not respawn in this comic because the Bête Noire's body is designed for trapping Souls, including monster Souls, which is why Holli's Soul did not shatter inside Betty.

impressive concept , i had just assumed that this was holli's death story , and that you weren't telling her stories in a linear path but all other stories happened before this one . i like your concept more
