It took a lot of soul searching, but at the end of the day, the ponies couldn't deny their desire to fill the bellies of their predators. Its a win-win, really!

Still, I bet Celestia must have strained herself resurrecting them all that day. But I suppose it'll be worth it to have them be eaten again (and have her own fun watching them).
