Since time immemorial, Calamity Ganon has threatened the ancient kingdom of Hyrule. He has risen and been defeated in an endless cycle as foretold in a time long since out of mind before the kingdom existed. Always, a daughter of the Royal Family and a courageous knight have stood together to defeat this Great Calamity.


The last time Calamity Ganon appeared, he was swiftly defeated thanks to advanced technology developed by the Sheikah tribe, including autonomous Guardians to protect the princess and her knight, and four Divine Beasts, piloted by Champions from the four friendly tribes that reside in the kingdom along with the Hylians and Sheikah, to weaken the Calamity. Since then, 10,000 years of peace have ensued, and the now ancient technology of the Sheikah has been hidden away to prevent its misuse. Until now...


Calamity Ganon's return has been prophesied, and this time, he threatens to triumph, even with the uncovering of the ancient technology. One brave little Guardian travels through time to aid Princess Zelda, her knight, and the Champions in their fight to prevent Hyrule's devastation.
