The whole story is so amazing. Feral predators on humans, especially fishy ones, are such a delicious fantasy to dive into. But the attempted escape... the one that was almost, just almost successful, added the icing on the cake. Thank you so much for writing and sharing this story. I really loved reading it and I am sure I will read it a few times more.
