[COMM:] Lots of Witches! By FemmiK -- Report

Hey everyone! StufferVore here with one of the bigger flat color commissions I've ever taken on! Featuring a total of TWELVE different Little Witch Academia girls, commissioned by the one and only  TheAkkoDimensio! And not only that but having the girls steadily having a larger belly than the last! Overall, this was a pretty fun commission, but I feel as though I did take a bit too long on it. I need to keep working on my speed!

So how many people took part in this picture, aside from the twelve girls visible? My guess: in total 2588. Why such a precise number?:

The first girl has a belly of more than half her height in diameter, a little less than 0.9 m. That means her belly is max. (0,9/2)³*4/3*pi = 0,38 m³.
One record for people in a phone booth is 25 ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phonebooth_stuffing ), a phone booth is about 3x3x7 ft = 0.9x0.9x2.1 m = 1.7 m³, that makes 1.7/25 = 0.07 m³ per person. or max. 5.5 persons in her belly. So guess her number is 5.

The last girl has an irregular, nearly ellipsoid belly of horizontally about 3.5 times and vertically 2.5 times her arm span, that is - assuming an arm span of 1.6 m - about 5.6x5.6x4.2 m with a volume of pi/6*5.6*5.6*4.2 = 69 m³. That is about 986 persons.

The girls are said to have steadily bigger bellies. If the factor is constant, then for the 11 girls following the first each girl has a belly which is (986/5)^(1/11) = 1.617 times as big as the previous girl, that is a factor very close to the Fibonacci number of 1.618. Since the 6th number in the Fibonacci sequence is 5 and the Fibonacci number 11 steps later is 987 - which is only 1 more than the estimated 986 - and because the Fibonacci number is called the golden ratio in art my educated guess is that the artist made the girls eat the Fibonacci sequence starting from the 6th step: the fist one ate 5, the second one 8 8, and so on. That is 5 + 8 + 13 + 21 + 34 + 55 + 89 + 144 + 233 + 377 + 610 + 987 = 2576 persons. So on the picture we see directly 12 and indirectly 2576, in sum 2588 persons.
If the last girl needed one minute for every gulp, it would have taken her 16 hours and 27 minutes to fulfill her part.

How far could we go?:
There are 24 master students at the LWA ( https://little-witch-academia.fandom.com/wiki/Luna_Nova_Magical_Academy ), with them it would be possible to double the number of blobs. But this would require 829 456 additional swallowees, 832 032 in total and 317 811 of them confined in the 24. girl.

The worlds population (7.9 G in 2021) would only be enough to continue this with 19 other girls. All together this would require 7 778 742 048 internal and 43 external participants, so in total 7 778 742 091. The last girl would need to eat 2 971 215 073. Because at a rate of 1 per minute this would require more than 5 649 years and, even if we assume those witches have this lifespan, most of the people incorporated would have been digested before completion, non-conventional ingestion techniques had to apply.

It would require 7 internals and 5 externals To complete the Fibonacci sequence at the beginning (0, 1, 1, 2, 3), which makes
7 778 742 103 participants and 48 groups (or 7 778 742 102 in 47 groups, if you do not accept an empty belly as such).

Another number given for the LWA is about 150 students in total. Having one empty and 149 bellies filled following this rule the totals are (g)astronomic: 16 130 531 424 904 581 415 797 907 386 348 (plus the 149 girls containing them and one sad little witch), with 6 161 314 747 715 278 029 583 501 626 149 cramped together in girl number 150. That is 16E+30 people. As I already wrote here: https://aryion.com/g4/view/600635 if every star in the Milky Way had a planet with an earth-like population, there would be 8e+20 people in our galaxy. So we would need the inhabitants of 20 billion of such galaxies. In 2016 it was estimated that the observable universe contains two trillion galaxies, that is 100 times this number, so if only one of hundred stars had a planet populated like ours this would be possible. The last girls belly would weight about 4e+32 kg, that is 200 times the solar mass. when googling about the series I found https://raianimeblog.com/2017/10/23/little-witch-academia-represents-what-is-wrong-with-education-in-japan/ which reminded me of my own school times. I was someone that fit into no pigeonhole, my test results were not consistent but merely stochastic even within one subject. In one test I was the best one, in the next test the worst in class. I was bullied, even from some teachers (how can a teacher be mad at a student which asks questions they can not answer?). My parents did not care or even notice since my grades were nonetheless above average and because I was not the problem child in the family. Later at uni I failed grandiosely, and the other students whom I explained everything preparing for examinations later where like... wait, what, YOU failed? I explained this to me that, since I came through school without doing the least bit for learning, I simply did not learn how to learn. Now I would say that school and uni did not provide me a way of teaching that could reach me. Everyone has other strengths and weaknesses, but the educational system only provides a one-size-fits-everyone method. Instead of encouraging the students to develop their strengths it concentrates and therefore wastes time on the weaknesses, frustrating the students and giving a sub-optimal outcome. I hoped this had changed in the last decades, but the discussions here in Germany about homeschooling during the pandemic told me otherwise.

When I made this picture, I certainly didn't expect someone to apply math to it, and from what I can see your math very much checks out. However, there is one minor thing that's somewhat neglected here. In terms of the first girl, it's simply only meant to be one person inside of her belly. Although I'm aware of how many people can tend to fit into one singular space, I tend to be on the generous side of that matter, at least when it comes to my vore art. I'm not fully sure how exactly the end result of your equations would shift in regard to that fact, but I am curious!

Also, I can definitely understand the PS segment. My school life was very similar.

The Fibonacci sequence starting with "1" and the next one with a higher number would be 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, that means 12 girls + 608 = 620, but also that the girls swallowed a lot of air. Since the sequence very fast converges to exponential growth you could simply go 3 steps left from the end of the original sequence and see that 233 is about 23,6% of 987. That multiplied by 2576 results in 607.9, practically the same as 608.

The human brain is quite capable of comparing linear and - to a certain degree - areal measurements but has problems with higher exponents. So, like the weight of a rock often is underestimated when compared to a pebble, the resulting belly size for a given number of human portions is often overestimated. Frakass made a series about this: https://aryion.com/g4/view/202319 . He estimated a diameter of 55cm for a person of 75kg (87 liters). I estimated 70 liters and therefore only 51cm (I took a smaller number to take into account younger people and display the global situation: https://www.livescience.com/36470-human-population-weight.html gives an average body mass, globally, of 136 pounds (62 kilograms.)). A multiplication of volume by x means only a multiplication of the cubic root of x for the diameter, so for 5 times the volume this is 5^(1/3) = 1.71 times the diameter or an 71% increase. That means 5 people fit in a 94 cm diameter for Frakass' estimate or into 87 cm for mine. 233x0.07 m³= 16,3 m³ would mean a spheric belly of 3.14 m in diameter for #12 (Jasminka), using my numbers. That is - considering the deformation - about the size depicted for #8 (Akko) or #7 (Marianne). I hope I've got the names right.

By the way, I found this interesting page: https://waitbutwhy.com/2015/03/7-3-billion-people-one-building.html . It has a picture how big a cube of rice grains with one grain per human would be. It gives you a feeling of how many people there really are.

To the PS.: Some people find consolation in other people sharing a grief. A problem shared is a problem halved. I don't see it this way. The more people share a problem, the more intense it is. I would rather see a problem solved.
