“Help me,” she implored, enchanting eyes locking with Tethys’s own and demanding attention. She grasped at Tethys’s sleeve. The woman’s gaze remained tethered, watching for the slightest changes. “You have to help me.”

“O- Of course,” Tethys responded, taken aback by the sudden intensity. She gestured to the sterile strips on the bench nearby. “I’m trying to.”

“Promise me.”

“I- I promise. I swear.”

That cover art is amazing! I see no good reason not to trust Valrova with my life and soul, and I encourage everyone else to do the same.

Absolutely. Mina did a fantastic job.

Frankly, I don't see why anyone would doubt Valrova's sincerity. What about that face could possibly say 'ulterior motives'?
