Infernas are curious creatures. Like Blessed Knights, they are not created from the
minds of men, but instead come from the Inferium, a dimension of fire, brimstone, and ash. While they worship the Flame Undying, their god is a being of pure willpower without a mind; it does not give orders, it does not lead. It simply endures since time eternal and occasionally births a new Inferna for reasons beyond comprehension.

Among these Infernas is Rizonas, a fell-beast of lust. Born a few centuries after the Inferium was created, Rizonas remembers simpler times. Where Infernas simply needed to harass Blessed Knights, spill blood for the Flame Undying, and spread Chaos across the cosmos. Nowadays, however, there's more to it: they must collect lost and damned souls, draw warriors to fight in the Colosseum of Foulest Pitch, and much, much more. And as an Inferna of lust, Rizonas must do so with her sensual body...

... which is hard to do while resting naked on a pile of charred corpses. But as Queen Shamadon decreed, all Infernas of Lust must damn 100 souls per year, or ensnare 100 lost souls from escaping the Inferium. The consequences for failure are dire, including the dreaded fate of Rekindling, where an Infernas is returned to the Flame Undying, fuel for the fire while their mind destroyed within its unbearable heat.

So, like many Infernas, Rizonas left the Inferium and made a home on Earth, taking the name 'Catalina Romero.' Normally, Infernas would attract too much attention on the mortal plane, for their Darkness Magic and Chaos Sorcery corrupts anything around them. So, she possessed the body of a living human; unlike a damned soul, the living innately resist magic more. This acts as a stopgap, allowing Catalina to blend in better.

As for Catalina's personality, this Inferna is short-tempered with a domineering streak. She demands her way 9 times out of 10, but will compromise if a trade in involved. A saleswoman at heart, Catalina has collected thousands of souls through clever pitches and her clients always leave satisfied... prior to damnation, of course. Not only that, but she's got a sharp wit and playful disposition, making mortals lower their guard and trust her. If Catalina loses any souls, its because her temper seeps into conversation too much and is less 'charmingly defiant' and more 'annoying.'

All these traits make Catalina excellent as a Dominatrix, and her primary tactic is seducing someone until their soul is ripe for damnation, then to eat them before they can repent. Usually her gut works as a portal straight to the Pit, but sometimes she digests the mortal, soul and all. Honestly it depends on how close Catalina is to meeting her yearly quota, so Catalina puts on a lot of weight near the holiday season. Why, just look at that dumptruck ass! And given how often she eats mortals, some demons tease Catalina, saying she should work for as a Gluttony Inferna instead.

... Catalina cannot say the prospect is uninteresting.

And for those who are curious, Rizonas' true form are those skull-shaped earrings. They'd normally seep soot from the eyes sockets as part of their Chaos magic, but in a living human body, they can't.

Edit (5/14/2023): I've decided to tweak Catalina's backstory considerably. Originally, I took inspiration from another friend's hell setting and demons, but after a while, that felt both lazy and plargistic. So I've developed this new backstory. Hopefully it works for everyone.
