I've seen this kind of creature before, in many kinds of artwork, all with or without that specific species swallowing someone whole, but can't quite remember if that kind of being is able to control their digestion up to the point where they can hold their prey as a captive in some shape or form for a certain period of time or perhaps forever?

Looks really awesome in your style! I love the contrast of "BIG TEETH MONSTER" to the cute little prey in their belly! It makes the whole piece interesting!
