I have wanted a succubus in my roster of girls ever since I started posting, but... I kid you not, I've come up with well over 10 different designs since then and wasn't happy with any of them. Until now that is.
Meet Devorah. As a succubus, she feeds off of feelings just as much as she feeds off of physical food. The stronger the feeling, the better. No matter if it's pain, pleasure or even fear.
I decided to go with a more oldschool demon approach, incorporating bird wings and goat elements rather than batwings or the stereotypical demon tail. Most of my previous attemtpts were more in line with the latter approach and weren't bad but something about them always felt off. The moment I added the hip wings, I knew I liked where this design was going.
Also small fun fact: Her main colour is red not only because red is the colour of passion, but also because none of my other characters have ANY red in their designs... somehow.

Funny enough, seeing such intense red colors from your style actually felt unusual. With you pointing out you never had red characters, it suddenly made sense ^^
This is a clever approach on demon girl. Bat-like or scaly features have become redundant. I really like the wings on her tail, which make this skirt-like silhouette –it reminds me a lot of Morgana from LoL– but at the same time, I think I'll never get used to seeing "butt wings" instead of the usual shoulder blade wings x)

Happy to hear you like the approach I took! I felt like there are plenty of succubi with bat features, and demons come in so many varieties, so a different animal inspiration seemed fitting.
Morgana was indeed an inspiration for the wings, along with Morrigan from Darkstalkers. Although the inspiration was very loose from the latter.

Excellent design! I love that you took her in a different direction than the common succubus tropes. Hip wings are seriously underused.

She looks amazing! And the best part is that she is going to stand out thanks to your choice of design! I always likes the "Wings on hips" idea for characters, even though realistically 1) flying would be a pain since the center of weight is in the chest area for men and in the sternum for females and 2) in order for the wings to actually work, each one would have to be 3 times the person's body, meaning a wingspan for a 5ft person would be 10ft of just wing, not including the foot or so of wideness they would have. Regardless, this is fantasy and I love the wings on the hips! The golden lines are cool, are those tatted on or just natural?
I love that you said Feelings instead of just passion, that let's my mind wander to "She could feed off of Sadness, explore the city and just baste in the emotions around her. She could consume Anger, urge people to fan the flames in situations. She can consume Happiness, giving a nervous person that one push to get them romantically involved in a relationship." I know your characters and creations tend to be cruel and dominating, but I think it would be very nice to see something kind from them, where it shows that they are actually real beings instead of one-sided villains. Not calling you out, I'll just entertain it in my mind.
Also, how did you know my favourite colour was red?! I love her and can't wait to see more of her in the future! BTW, do you have a line up of your characters? I can't remember all of them and don't remember which ones are commissions or not...

Ahh the logical issues wings on humanoid characters... The fantasy of it is really fun though. I imagine she can float a bit without even flapping her wings, but that floating is quite limited. And the golden lines are natural.
I love that you took the idea of her consuming feelings to so many different places. I do feel like exploring those things would be fun. I have been thinking of making more content that 'humanizes' my characters, shows more of their personalities than just how they act towards their prey...
And it's very good that you brought up a line up. I wanted to make a sort of... encyclopedia? for my characters a while ago, but that got left unfinished. I have a habit of not focusing well on a single project, so a lot of things never get done.

Succubi giantesses and the idea of a giantess who prioritizes emotion (fear, pain, excitement, etc) over the actual physical feeling of eating someone is a rare but super fun trope! Your art always has a way of capturing an entire scene/story with just 1 image, so I look forward to seeing her! :)
