So, on a bit of a whim I decided to write a tragedy (at least I think that's what this counts as). While I'm sure there's plenty of this type of thing here on this site, it's not something I see often so I wanted to try my hand at it. As for the Almawt, I wanted to create my own sort of desert-based ambush predator. I basically combined different aspects of antlions and the Graboids from Tremors and voila.

Personally, I really like this concept. Savannah (the Almawt) is a character I see myself writing about again in the future at some point. A better future that is.
