Alysa concocts a plan to try and disuade Zash from enacting her sinister ritual. The results are unexpected...
I've debated whether this one constitutes vore or not (soul unbirth specifically), so if you feel it doesn't quite hit the mark then I'll switch it to non-vore.
Forgot to mention, this was originally posted a while ago to AO3 by me using the anon author feature, and I haven't written a follow-up in the months since. I might continue it eventually, who knows.

Unbirth or not, I love it! It's funny, gentle ans I have fond memories of that particular class origin story in SW:TOR.

Well this is quite an interesting way to circumvent a ritual

Haha, funny how that worked out.
Zash really should be happier about this, Alysa’s basically just discovered a way to manually cycle reincarnation. Then again, it involves trusting another sith, so probably not her first choice.

It does also require her to be kept safe inside another woman's body for nine months on a massive extension of trust, and endure the process of being born while fully aware and conscious of it. Not to mention having to wait for the new body to develop back up to independence.
I have ideas for where the story would go if I do resume it, and in general I think it's fun to explore what this kind of immortality's price comes at. And the various timeskips across the expansions do allow for advancing stages rather conveniently if I get that far.

Who’s Alysa, again?
