An old pic of Eros from October 2021!

This flirty goth is Eros, same name as the God of Lust. Now, he's not a god himself, he's just a mortal. But he lives up to his name- being the most lustful out of everyone in the village. Similar to Matt, he came to the island from the city and found a life there... namely, one in making all the other 'handsome guys' in the village as uncomfortable as possible with his flirty and off the wall comments. He lives to be horny. Not very many people like him, though he seems to revel in the negative attention. Strangely enough, Joe is one of the few people whom doesn't find Eros a nuisance, though he can still definitely be taken aback by his comments. Eros doesn't understand this, and wants Joe to be as repulsed and disgusted as everyone else is by him... Though, he's 'turned on' by Joe's lack of ire towards him. He's a weird guy for sure.

Since Joe and Moe get back together at some point, Eros doesn't back off his advances towards Joe, instead doing it even more. This infuriates Moe to no end. Does Eros just enjoy being problematic? Maybe... Though, there is a part of him that seems to be clinging onto the kindness Joe shows him, which is why he's so attached.

Because he loves making people uncomfortable, he'll find out exactly what makes people tic. He's very observant, and will exploit the fears of the villagers as much as possible. Even the other resident troublemaker Leraph doesn't like him. He teeters on the edge of being 'evil' with how far he is capable of going. Eros does have a sense of morality, he just rarely follows it. He could just cause chaos constantly and shower in the insults and threats thrown at him... but, there's just something about Joe that he doesn't want to make sad. (It's similar to Leraph and the Priest, though of course Eros and Joe are not together.)

Joe seems to be at least somewhat aware of Eros' crush on him, though it's because of Eros that he and Moe broke up originally. Eros intentionally led Moe to believe that Joe was cheating on him with Eros, and 'broke his heart'. It drove Moe into becoming a punk biker and making a gang. It's in Eros' long line of making trouble... though, despite that, Joe couldn't find it in himself to stay mad at Eros. It's because of this refusal to get upset that confused Eros, and he felt a rare sense of regret for breaking the two up in the first place.

The villagers have tried to get Eros out of their home many times, but Joe is always there to defend the goth. Eros just doesn't understand why Joe is willing to stand up for him, and even though he relishes in the others' distaste for him, a part of him is also warmed by the fact that Joe is willing to stand up for him.

Eros' crush on Joe is a little... much. He daydreams of Joe doing 'naughty' things to him. Because he cares enough, (and because he still feels a little bad) he doesn't step in his and Moe's relationship. He'll still indulge in making Moe as angry as possible, though. Even more strange, Eros doesn't seem to be very jealous of Joe and Moe's relationship. He'll occasionally watch them on their dates from afar... Maybe he might have a crush on Moe, too. Perhaps at some point, the three of them will get together... (edited)

Other than Joe, though, Eros has a friend in Cale the chef. Cale doesn't approve at all of Eros' tormenting of the villagers of course, but does remind him that he's always welcome if he needs to lay low for a while. Cale is one of the few exceptions to Eros' flirts, as even he doesn't want to incur the wrath of Cale's beloved, Krail.

Saying that Eros is a weird fella is an understatement. The sheer amount of stuff he's 'into' and turns him on is impressive... or would be, but he can get kind of freaky. being turned into a balloon is tamer than most, for sure. foreplay, anyone?

Despite how much he pesters everyone, he longs for someone to indulge his... fetishes, for lack of a better word. His daydreams are filled with that person in question being Joe. Joe isn't 'freaked out' by Eros like most are, but I'm not sure he would want to do all of those things, even if Eros were to get in the relationship with him and Moe. (Though Moe would probably do it, not because he's into it but because he'd want to cause as much 'pain' to Eros as possible. Eros is... into that too.)

Eros' tongue is... freakishly long. It weirds a lot of people out, and he uses it to its full potential. For a non-magic mortal (Eros doesn't practice magic), there's a lot of quirky things about him. He can really bend... if you know what I mean! Out of everyone in the village, Eros is by far the most 'freaky'.

He keeps tabs on all of the men on the island, and an especially close tab on Joe. It's not that Eros doesn't fantasize being with the other men too, but Joe in particular makes his heart throb. His kindness and eagerness to defend him... Eros finds that very cute.

In addition to that, Eros does have a secret sincere side.... namely, it's whenever he's with Joe. It's not like the brazen man to be shy and nervous, especially when it comes to flirting- but he has a tendency to freeze up and blush whenever Joe gives him a genuine compliment. (Joe does find Eros' blush very cute himself- it's a sight that is very rare, since Eros is typically the one that embarrasses others.)

(There was a time- before Joe and Moe got back together, just after their breakup. Eros confronted Joe, asking him why he wasn't upset with him for ruining his relationship. Joe responded by kissing Eros on the cheek- and told him keeping grudges isn't his style.)
