Sunny is Riza's personal trainer. Karla brought Amelie to the gym she works out at. Amelie eventually told her mom that she should go there since it's a nice place, and she agreed.
Sunny was one of the new teachers in the gym, and was very helpful to Riza,and as she mentioned she might need personal training so she could work out more comfortably, Sunny offered her services.
They eventually became friends, and as time passed, they started hanging out. That eventually led up to them dating, and oh well, here we are.
