INTERACTIVE SERIES - Midhorth Quest: Chapter 0

Midhorth is a world of medieval fantasy populated by various incredible races: humans, elfs, orcs and much more call the towns and kingdoms of Midhorth their home. Although very different both in appearance and culture, all of them share the monetary system of tolkiens (gold coins) and lewis (silver coins), and live their lives with many a rivalry and alliance.

But in the magical land of Midhorth, where sword and sorcery are yet to die out, an ancient evil has laid waste to the people for the last millennium.

The Unholy Mother of Darkness, a terrible goddess from another world, arrived at Midhorth and easily conquered it, and for centuries established her kingdom, ruling it all with an iron grip. The evil one also brought the concept of "vore" to her new home-world, which was enfused to Midhorth's culture for so long that it became an everyday thing.

But the Unholy Mother was wise and knew that even her couldn't oversee such a vast dominion on her own, so she gave fractions of her power to several of her best lienauts and most fearful monsters, and put then on strategic positions over the world where they could rule as feudal lords of the region they watched over. The people called them "Bosses".

In a violent and adventurous world, it's only natural that dangerous hobbies end up becoming the most popular trends, and in Midhorth there was a cultural habit of forming parties and starting journeys to try and defeat the Bosses. Most of those excursions ended with party wipes, obviously.

Nevertheless, you are feeling like it's your lucky day: you won't be killed or eaten on the quest you're about to start. You are "Adventurer", and soon you'll give the first step on the road to riches and glory beyond your wildest dreams and to end the Unholy Mother's reign of tyranny!

But first, there are still some things people don't know about Adventurer! Your future fans surely will need to know that! Are you a:

In this series, the readers will control a videogame-like protagonist and decide their choices by answering a pool at the end of each chapter. Although it's a POV series, you don't need to think as if Adventurer is LITERALLY you if you don't want to. Think of them as a customizable visual novel protagonist!
