This spectacular drawing was made by  fairyfud as part of their special Easter-themed commissions! In an alternate world, Ginger finds herself as a naive, pure-hearted bunny girl who becomes… particularly intimate with a “new friend.” I hope you like it!

——————

Spring had finally sprung, and with the advent of sunny days in the forest, out from hibernation came the bunnies. Gentle, innocent creatures, bunnies ate feverishly in the fall to survive the scarce winter months, but invariably they consumed more than their small metabolisms actually needed. During the first month of spring, bunnies could be seen sluggishly wandering through the forest, carrying their still-fattened bodies back to their hutches. One such bunny decided one day to venture far out into the wilderness, eager to explore the newly lush expanses of green. Her heart stirred with curiosity, an innate lust for adventure keeping a spring in her step.

Well into the afternoon, the bunny had traipsed through the forest until she was long past the point of being lost. Nothing looked familiar to her, and it began to dawn upon the poor bun that she had been left hopelessly alone. As she nervously wandered through the brush, the path was soon blocked by a massive entity completely foreign to the bunny. She froze, gazing in awe at the sudden sight before her.

The bunny could have sworn she had simply encountered a fallen tree caked in fresh moss, but this thing was… *moving!* Ever so slightly, the strange creature’s long, smooth body contracted rhythmically, its gentle motions dispelling any doubt that it was a mere log. But… whatever this fellow was, it at least seemed to be sleeping. It posed no threat so long as it slumbered.

“But what if…” the bunny thought. “…he wants to be friends? He seems harmless…” She saw no claws or quills on the beast, only its smooth, intricately-patterned skin. It didn’t seem like a creature designed for violent confrontation. “He could help me find my way home!”

With the purest of beaming smiles, the bunny knelt beside the sleeping beast, reaching a dainty hand out to gently stroke its head. Her fingers brushed against its scales, and two black, beady eyes slowly opened. The bunny found herself face-to-face with the unfamiliar critter, neither making a sound as they sized one another up.

How odd this creature seemed to the bunny! It looked as if it was no more than a long tail, perhaps fallen off of some bizarre, massive beast. Her surprise was only heightened when the creature’s jaw began to open, its jaw stretching further and further. Was this how it said hello? Should she try and respond the same way? The bunny parted her soft lips, but her new friend gave no reaction. She eyed the creature confusedly until it suddenly advanced upon her, latching onto the top of her head and beginning to swallow.

The bunny squirmed in shock, but the creature’s mouth held an iron grip upon her. It slithered further across her head, soon plunging her senses into a warm, slimy darkness. She fell over, unable to reorient herself as she sank further, slowly yet surely, into the belly of the beast.

The bunny struggled for air as the warm walls of the creature’s insides began to tightly hug her. She managed weak breaths, confused and rightfully scared, but at the same time also… pleasant? As far as she could tell, this beast never tried to actively harm her. Perhaps this was all still part of how he greeted others! And more of her body was still being enveloped in a tight, wet warmth… her legs quivered gently with a new excitement.

The creature had slurped down half of the bunny’s body, still generously laden with excess fat from her hibernation. It swung its body upwards, using what it had already claimed of its meal to hoist her hefty rear into the air. Its jaw caught on the bunny’s wide hips, unable to stretch fast enough to easily slide her in. The beast continued to inch its way over the massive feast, determined to claim such a bounty of nutritious meat as its own.

Soft, muffled moans escaped from the creature’s midsection, its prey squeaking in pleasure as her sensitive bottom was tightly squeezed inside. The bunny huffed and sighed as her new friend took in more of her. “I knew it…” Her thoughts had slowed, having become lightheaded from the small amount of air in the creature’s stomach. “If he made me feel this good… of course he’s friendly…” She moaned again as the widest part of her hips slipped past the creature’s jaw. “He’ll help me get home…”

The bunny’s legs began to slide into the beast, its steady swallows gaining speed as gravity took over. Her mind numbed from pleasure and thin air, she softly thanked her new friend before her eyes fell shut, passing out peacefully into a dreamless sleep. The creature closed its mouth around her toes, settling triumphantly into the soft forest grass as the last of its meal slipped into its stomach.

The snake coiled its head over the new, unmoving bulge in its middle, the stomach’s rhythmic churning helping it return to its nap in the delightfully sunny patch. Though it could not have possibly known, the snake had made good on its meal’s last wish — it had led the bunny directly to her new home.
